Marissa, Founder & Creative Director
Welcome! My name is Marissa, and I am the face behind The Home Narrative. Since I was a little girl, I've had a passion for pretty things, with a burning artistic flare deep in my soul.
For over 10 years, I have been helping clients create the spaces of their dreams, along with building and renovating many of my own spaces.
With a background in visual art, I have a distinct ability to see colour and their undertones since I used to mix paints to create my artwork. There is no better way to understand colour than mixing your own paints!
Whether it is a tired space that needs a little love or somewhere brand new, they all excite me because of the endless possibilities. There are so many stories that can be told inside four walls and I want my client's spaces to feel as unique as they are.
What story does my space tell?
My home is my refuge, a retreat from this crazy world and somewhere I feel genuinely calm. You will find a neutral palette that is bright and airy, with a beautiful sophistication and timeless aesthetic. I like taking inspiration from the trends in styling and decor.
My home is a place where I feel calm and relaxed with my most treasured gift, my family. I want anyone who enters my home to feel the same way that I do about the space- welcomed, loved and comfortable.
