What Is a Coffee Chat?

Think of it as your one-on-one design strategy session.

It’s relaxed, real, and focused entirely on your space — not general advice.

Available in 30-minute or 60-minute virtual sessions, your Coffee Chat gives you direct access to a professional designer to talk through your goals, challenges, and questions — from paint colours and finishes to layouts, furnishings, and renovation decisions.

It’s not a sales call — it’s a conversation that offers professional guidance you can act on immediately.

Recording option: 60-minute Coffee Chats can be recorded when requested in advance. 30-minute sessions do not include recording.

Need ongoing design support through your renovation or new build—multiple sessions are welcomed and encouraged

Write down your questions in order of priority so your top items are covered.
Keep a pen and paper handy to make notes.
Check your internet connection beforehand.
I recommend using your phone or tablet — makes it easy to show your space live.
You can absolutely book more than one Coffee Chat — over 60% of sessions are with repeat clients.

Document Review (Optional)

If you’d like materials reviewed before the session:

Flat fee: $40 USD per session for pre-call Document Review
Timing: Submit in one email at least 2 days before your session
Payment: A PayPal request will be sent; the review must be paid before your session begins
Note: Each Coffee Chat is an independent session — document review fees do not carry over to future sessions. (Screensharing during the call is always free.)

Time Zones

All Coffee Chats are scheduled in Eastern Standard Time (EST). The booking platform lets you view/adjust to your own time zone — please schedule accordingly.

Terms & Conditions — Overview

Sessions are conducted on Zoom only; please familiarize yourself with the platform in advance.
Technical delays do not extend session time.
Pre-call submissions are considered Document Review and billed at $40 USD per session; payable before your call.
Follow-up design questions are out-of-scope and billed separately or handled in a new Coffee Chat.
Coffee Chat services do not include written summaries or post-session documentation.
7 days’ notice required to reschedule; missed/late-change sessions are non-refundable.
Failure to read these Terms & Conditions does not preclude their application.
