"It is said that “a picture is worth a thousand words”, and I would love to show everyone my three new living spaces through pictures! However, pictures do not tell the hard work and thought that went into the renovations. So here I go. In words. And much less than 1000!

Marissa was referred to me by a close friend. Much to my delight, a clever, creative woman came into my home to see my outdated kitchen, cramped bathroom, and tiny ensuite. She spent time looking, listening, and asking questions. Marissa did not miss a thing, and she honoured everything I wanted.  This was a woman on a serious mission with much to accomplish.

The professionally put-together-plan that she submitted to me a few weeks later included different “palettes” or plans for my rooms. This was presented in such a way that everything flowed together to create a beautiful, updated room - the heart of our home.  It was an extremely comprehensive plan that gave me a wonderful visual of what my kitchen could look like!  And she did it for not only my kitchen, but also the main bathroom, and the major ensuite renovation. 

Of course I had many questions which she answered with patience and confidence. She proved to be an amazing sounding board and a wealth of information. It became very clear to me that Marissa’s skill was more than something that can be taught or memorized - she has a natural ability to design and create a space that is perfect for each individual. 

It is hard to totally express my pleasure and satisfaction in how this has all worked out and the contentment and enjoyment I get out of my new living spaces; however,  I can say that I would do it all again - and would call Marissa in a heartbeat.
